My Childhood Adventures in Upper Lonsdale

Our family home was in Upper Lonsdale growing up, so it holds special memories for us. We spent a lot of time playing tennis at Princess Park, in the playground at Carisbrooke Park and Carisbrooke School, and exploring the forest. Moreover, the North Vancouver Recreation Centre was a significant part of our lives, where we participated in tennis lessons, swimming and skating lessons, competitive swimming, and hockey. With six kids in the family, having all these outdoor recreation options and activities close by was invaluable and probably kept our parents sane.
