It’s safe to say that most of us wouldn’t exactly mind having a spacious walk in closet. If you’re a design lover, take a look at some of my favourite walk-in closets – a little inspiration never hurt, right?

As Hadley Mendelsohn explains in House Beautiful, this walk-in closet has all the bells and whistles and then some, but it’s also just smart. To make the room feel less claustrophobic and, well, like a closet, Castle Home opted for display cabinets rather than solid doors. My favourite thing about display cabinets is that it almost forces you to stay organized, and makes outfit finding much easier!
Another one of my all time favourite designs is the BROOKS custom walk-in closet designed by California Closets. The space, cabinetry, and colours really tie in the room and make you want to stay organized.

For those of you who are shoe lovers and would need a walk-in closet with lots of storage for your assortment of boots, heels, sneakers, and so on, this design is perfect.

I really like the idea of a clean space dedicated to shoes (I mean, don’t we all), and love the idea of adding baskets for a little extra storage. Aside from helping you stay organized, storage baskets will tuck away anything unsightly.
This is another great design that is fantastic for shoe lovers – and for those of you wanting to upsize and transform a room in your home into your ideal closet, but are finding your partner needs a bit of convincing.
