Calling all winter sports lovers – now is the time to head up to Grouse Mountain, Mt.Seymour, or Cypress Mountain!

Grouse Mountain’s 3-Day Plus Pass is perfect for those who are just looking for a few days on the mountain. The good news is that with the 3-Day+ Pass, you can add subsequent days at a 20% savings off day lift ticket prices. If you’d prefer to head up to Mount Seymour, you can now Ski or ride three times with or without rentals & save up to 40%. Click here for more information! Thinking of heading over to Cypress Mountain? Click here for lift tickets and consider exploring their Snow Tube Park while you’re there. With up to 6 chutes roughly 100 meters in length and a tube tow to do the work of bringing you back to the top, all you have to do is sit down and enjoy the thrill of the ride.

For the snow shoe lovers – all three North Shore mountains have scenic snowshoe trails. You can get up close and personal with the West Coast forests. Explore the trails on your own or take a guided tour, click here for everything you need to know.

Not quite feeling the mountain exploration route? A great local activity to explore this month is the The Shipyard Commons outdoor skate plaza. The rink is located on the waterfront at The Shipyards, and is set against the beautiful backdrop of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore mountains. The skate plaza offers daily skating, as well as free helmets and skate aides. Those with their own skates skate for free.

Last but not least – and maybe my favourite activity from the bunch – is exploring the exciting new options for Dine Out 2023! The beloved Dine Out Vancouver is back for its 21st year and will be in full swing from January 20th – February 5th. Personally, I can’t wait to explore new restaurants and take a much needed cooking break after the holidays. You can learn more about the festival here.

I hope you enjoy these January adventure options! Wishing you a happy and healthy year ahead.
